Bienvenido, loyal reader. Please join Bruce and Mary as they do happy hour on the cheap, naturally. Provecho!
I hate to say this, dear reader, but we have, at least for the time being, grown a little weary of the Cantina scene. It’s nothing we can really put a finger on but we decided to take a break. However, there is one thing I am incapable of taking a break from and that is being a tacaño, so now… we do our happy hours on the super cheap. Here we are at Sazon del Pueblo y para El Pueblo (you can see owner Joaquin in the background) and I am pouring Mary’s beer as we start this happy hour. We are still getting used to the fact that we can bring our own beers into this and some other restaurants, but that is just another thing we love about PV.
Now it’s my turn. I am pouring my home-made Michelada mix into my glass. BTW: Don’t do this at home with an American beer. We did once, with a Leinies. It exploded.
We laze away our happy hour finishing up our second beer each and we congratulate ourselves on becoming the happy hour tacaños that we are. The total cost of this happy hour, including a light meal for two is 55P, about $4.20US. Cheers!
Thanks for visiting, gentle reader. If any of you PV readers have happy hour venues to share, please do! And of course Bruce and Mary love comentarios on any topic. Oh and a shout out to reader Erik who shamed Bruce and Mary into getting a new camera. They are now proud owners of a Fujifilm JZ100, the cheapest (naturally) P&S camera offered at Office Depot, PV. Hasta proxima Domingo!
