Bienvenido, loyal reader. Please join Bruce and Mary (and Dino) on the Puerto Vallarta hospitality scene once again. Provecho!
Mary grabs a table by the window. It was a hot walk here but the ceiling fans and natural ventilation cool us right down. This is our first visit with Cupocity, once again, bringing us to a place we’d probably never have visited, which in this case would have been a real shame.
This Cupocity offer was for any pizza on the menu. We intended to split one but got a little worried, after I presented the coupon, when the server assumed that Mary would want to order a dish for herself, but…
No te preocupes, no worries, this Pizza Mama Mia is more than enough for the two of us. Our American palates were expecting a pie with a slightly sweeter tomato sauce but this pizza was a very pleasant surprise with a fresh tomato sauce and a very thin and truly delectable crust. Oh if you’re wondering about Mary and Anchovies, they were placed in the middle of the pie and I was happy to rescue them.
Our entrees arrive and my Lasagna Bolognese is pretty incredible. The tomato sauce is so sweet and the parmesan sauce is remarkable for its creaminess. I have two speeds of eating. When food is good I wolf it down, when its really good, I slow down and actually taste it. It took me quite a while to clean this plate.
Mary is having the Lasagna Vegetariana and is amazed at how perfectly the flavors blended. In her words: The carrots in this lasagna offer a succulent sweetness and are done to a perfect texture giving a real ‘meatiness’ to this vegetarian lasagna. Mushrooms, zucchini and lots of basil combine to make this muy delicioso.
His lovely esposa, wife, Jacky is tending the bar.
Thanks for visiting, gentle reader. Bruce and Mary hope you enjoyed the tune Amore, oops, tour of Amore, that is, and are more than happy to hear of your favorites places. Hasta proximo Domingo!
