Bienvenido, loyal reader. Please join Bruce and Mary as they celebrate the fun of partying with friends of friends.
This is our new friend Kandice. We received a most interesting comment to our last post from her. She is a good friend of our good friend Ann who, in my previous life, was a most excellent lease agent, serving me and my clients on many, many deals. Well, Kandice in subsequent emails made us an offer. She and her party of five Puerto Vallarta vacationers would treat us to dinner if we would share our PV (meager as it is) knowledge. Deal!!
Here we are in Madison South, Casa Isabel’s fine dining establishment. Going around the table it is Kandice, hubby Don, brother in law Warren and then Donny’s sisters: Warren’s wife Colleen and Linda. Warren and Colleen reside in the Boulder, CO area and the rest call the Marshall, MN area, home.
After a few drinks we start with Guac and chips.
And then on to the main courses, this is Mary’s veggie Lasagna.
And my Pescado del Dia, Catch of the Day, An Ocean Bass steak on a bed of seasoned pureed potatoes. The English language needs a new word for how tasty this is. And we must say, if there is more reasonably priced fine dining establishment in PV, than Madison South, we’d like to hear about it.
This is Linda’s Chicken Breast, stuffed with goat cheese, spinach and white pinenuts on a bed of almond mashed potatoes and rustic tomato sauce.
This is Colleen’s Grilled Pork Chop, served with mashed chick peas and bacon with carmelized veggies. Say, Colleen did you make that sale? As we all know, realtors are never 100% on vacation.
This is Warren’s Yellow Fin Tuna over sauteed veggies served with peach chutney and citrus essences.
And Donnie’s Coconut and Pistachio Shrimp, served with mango and chile de arbol. Note the presentation of this and all dishes. And here we must apologize as the pic of Kandice’s pasta dish did not turn out.
While we are enjoying our fine dining we are entertained with live music. Colleen discovers that the elder of this father/son tandem is in his 70s, Que Bueno!
And the sun sets on a really fun and lively group. We have not had such a good time in quite a while. Thanks again to you, Kandice, and company! Cheers!!
Thanks for visiting, gentle reader. As always Bruce and Mary love comentarios so please feel free. Hasta proxima Domingo!
